Wilma Lott began her career in the early 1970’s, out of necessity to feed her growing family of five. Working one summer at the Mt. Herman Conference Center, in Santa Cruz, California, Wilma prepared meals for thousands of guests.
Always a great cook, she learned to cook for large groups of people and understand the dynamics of groups and portion control. Wilma was fortunate enough to train with Julia Child.
Ready for a challenge, she parlayed this knowledge into a thriving catering business, now owned and operated by her son Robert Lott. Robert joined his mother in the early 1980’s. Under her watchful eye, he apprenticed with her and became her right hand.
As partners, they enjoyed sharing business responsibilities and coming up with winning recipes. Wilma’s legacy remains intact today through her son Robert’s commitment to fresh food and uncompromising service.
